The Order of S.A.T.A.N is founded to provide a church, an organization, a community and a Mastermind group for the evolved
members of the Druid religion. We are the strength and the energy of the next generation. Regardless of age, the members of
the Order of S.A.T.A.N are uninterested in the petty turf wars, antiquated tradition, internal politics and debate on grammatical
interpretation of Druidism. The members of the Order of S.A.T.A.N represent the noble, the fashionable, and the dignified
of the Druid Philosophy.We constantly strive for the full potential of ourselves and the possibility for more. The emotional
result of the Church is justification enough for the members. Emotion is the catalyst which inspires all great achievement.
The stronger the emotional response the greater the motivation to create, to think, to solve and to take action. Where as
other churches and religions restrain potential: Druidism demands study not just worship. The Order of S.A.T.A.N has become
a Mastermind Group, with the energy and emotional response of the many, they have created a whole greater then the sum. Never
has a Mastermind group contained such a broad spectrum of Will, with an ever expanding membership that includes the likes
such as artists, poets, philosophers, mathematicians, musicians, academics,and programmers. The Order of S.A.T.A.N represents
the full range of human spirit and ingenuity united through Druid thought and possibility. Our Druid Think Tank is a network
and accumulation of knowledge that stimulates personal development and Will. It brings together a diverse range of excellence
and free spirit. No mores or established belief is left unchallenged and the only limit of possibility is the one you emplace
on yourself.
We are an emerging Western Druid school and initiary body whose focus is to utilize the Druid myth structure; thereby
building a philosophic, mystical, and spiritual platform through which Dark Druidic Aspirants may gain a better understanding
of their right powers and responsibilities, as befits healthy functional individuals. We utilize Ritual Enactment, Invocation,
and Evocation, and have developed original and modified Occult Magickal Rituals through which our aims and goals may be exercised
and achieved.
In the coming years, we will endeavor to grow and improve with our membership body, as the facilitators of this organization
we stay in direct contact with all Aspirants personally - so things may change often to meet the requirements of the many,
but never forget: We observe the ultimate right and responsibility of each individual to hold him or herself as the ultimate
authority in all matters. Participation on all levels, in all things, is completely voluntary at all times.
The Order of S.A.T.A.N draws much of its heritage and inspirational symbolism from mankind's own history. While the actual
concept of the Occult Arts is a somewhat recent idea, its spirit has been felt since the days when man first crawled from
the primordial ooze to take his place as the dominant species on this planet.
Today we draw upon a rich history of symbols, archetypes, and tools that our ancestors have created for us. Everything
from pre-Socratic philosophy to modern occultism, from the Runes of the Norse to the Tarot of 13th century Europe, from the
early Druid circles to the rites of the Hellfire Club and a vast array of other influences from many perspectives and cultures.
Much of our magical traditions and structures can be traced back through such modern magical orders as the I.O.T., Ordo
Templi Orientis,and Thule. Influences can also be allocated to such historical orders as the Golden Dawn, The Fraternity of
Saturn,. and many of the early earth based religions and orders.
The Order of S.A.T.A.N is the first truly eclectic Druid Arts School to be created while drawing from as many perspectives
as the individual may want to explore.
The purpose of the Order of S.A.T.A.N is to develop and enhance the philosophies of the occult traditions.The Order of
S.A.T.A.N shall make these advancements by serving as a storehouse of philosophical and occult findings, while also providing
an organized and initiated structure for the purpose of individual growth and expansion.
The Order of S.A.T.A.N encourages the development of the individual's perspective of the Druid Path within the bounds
of our Ethical Principles; we do not discriminate based on personal interests.
We hold that Druidism is a birthright available only a person of direct Celtic hereditary descent. Such persons inherit
by blood that "inner Druid" which awaits to be awakened by desire, training, and Initiation.
* By hereditary descent, we refer to men and women of either Celtic birth or descent through paternal or maternal
parents or grandparents of any generation.
* By birthright, we mean that Druidism is based on one's Celtic birthland or the Celtic birthland of one's maternal
or paternal ancestors. We believe that those who were born in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Breton, the Aran Islands, and certain
other select sites pass on their Celtic heritage through heredity, and we further believe that the "dormant" Celtic
heritage may be awakened and reclaimed through a practice of the secular Druid tradition.
* By Initiation, we mean the passing on of Druidic status and power through the permanent granting of the Geis.
Finally, and most important, it is the Geis -- the traditional charge (or, sometimes, taboo) -- that makes one a Druid.
For us, it is the Geis, following one's Druidical training, that gives one the status and power of Druid. Nothing else will
work. One may have the descent, the status, and the learning, but without the Geis, one is not a Druid. The woman or man of
Celtic origin or descent may seek a Geis and hold it personally or, as a family ArchDruid, may also pass it down to other
blood family members of direct Celtic descent.
